When performing survey missions or generating 3D models, the right combination of flight profile and camera activation is crucial.

For detailed images of critical infrastructure and forest areas, high-performance 150MP camera images are used in combination with the Songbird. The system’s constant flight attitude in combination with RTK (real-time kinematics) or PPK (post-processed kinematics) enables accuracies of a few centimetres with flight times of a few minutes.

When planning survey flights, the GCS software takes into account the camera specifications and the overlaps for calculating flight corridors and altitudes.
